Angry Birds

Let's practice reading our rhythms. Play along with the Angry Birds.

In music class, we like to take a poem and memorize it's lyrics. 

BUBBLEGUM ON A STICK,

TASTES SO SWEET THAT I GOT SICK.

MAKES ME FEEL SO ICK, ICK, ICK,

THEN I HAD TO SIT, SIT, SIT.

Next we try to figure out the rhythms and play it on percussion instruments.

 

Sometimes we add a game to it!

 

Finally we add a melody to it and play it on boomwhackers or xylophones.
