4th Grade Recorders!

West Music Company
Fourth Grade Students/Parents/Guardians,
The time has come to begin Recorder Karate in music class! We will begin learning to play the soprano recorder. During each class we will practice a song and master a new note. Students will then test in the music “dojo” and earn belts for their recorder.
In order to do so, each child must have a recorder.
You may order a recorder from the school. We will be ordering Harmony Renaissance Recorders from West Music company. The recorders come with a storage case, cleaning rod and will be labeled with your child’s name. The price is $3.85 in cash or check made out to Partnership and includes the instrument, a carrying case, and the cost of shipping. (Please use exact change/cash.)
Or you can provide your own recorder for your child. You may use a recorder that you already own or purchase one, however, please be sure that the recorder is a soprano recorder with baroque-english fingering
If you need more info please email or call Miss Taylor!  btaylor@wcpss.net    919.856.8200
